How to Clear Obstacles

In Star Merge, obstacles like stones and debris are part of the challenge, adding strategy to your gameplay. Clearing these obstacles allows you to progress and unlock new collections, including statues, houses, and factories.

There Are Two Types of Obstacles in the Game:

1. Non-Moveable Obstacles – These obstacles cannot be moved by drag-and-drop.
   
2. Moveable Obstacles – These obstacles drop from Foraging and can be moved by drag-and-drop.
   

👉 Both types drop the same rewards.

General Obstacles

Some obstacles in the game are not tied to any character or narrative. These obstacles:

• Are placed on the map and cannot be moved.
• Have only one charge that costs 7 or 11 Energy to chop.
• Drop the same rewards for each state of collection.
  

How to Remove Obstacles

1. Assign Workers – Tap on the obstacle and assign Workers to start clearing it.
   
   
2. Use Energy – Each chop consumes Energy, so make sure you have enough to complete the task.
3. Deplete Charges – Every obstacle has a specific number of charges. Each chop removes one charge, and once all charges are depleted, the obstacle disappears.
