The Time Modifier in Star Merge reduces all new tasks and cooldown timers by 50%, helping you progress faster. Here’s how to use it effectively:

Obtaining the Time Modifier

• You can obtain the Time Modifier by participating in cascade events.

How the 50% Timer Decrease Works

• The Time Modifier applies to all new timers once activated.

• It also reduces the speed-up cost, allowing you to spend fewer resources to accelerate processes.

Timers Affected by the Time Modifier

• Character Tasks: All new tasks, including foraging.

• Well Timer: The new timer resets after claiming water.

• Foraging Spot Upgrade Timer: Newly started foraging upgrades benefit from the modifier.

• Factory Cooking Timers: Applies to new recipes started after activation (excluding ongoing recipes).

Exceptions: Timers NOT Affected

• Already running timers before activation.

• Harry’s timer.

• Order timers and new boat order refresh timers.

• Energy refresh time.
